XRackPro2 Studio Rack 12U Compatibility

Compatibility

The XRackPro2 Studio Rack 12U model conforms to EIA and NEMA standards for
a 4 post, 19 inch (48.2cm) wide rack. The Studio Rack adheres to the industry
standards to provide the maximum compatibility.

The mounting posts of the Studio Rack incorporate square holes, which are the
most commonly used in the industry. Square hole posts work with cage nuts and
screws to mount rackmount equipment and accessories. Cage nuts and screws
provided by GizMac Accessories, LLC are #10 with 32 thread x 16mm.

With a 24 inch (60.9cm) maximum depth (distance between front and rear posts)
and a 5 inch (12.7cm) minimum depth, the Studio Rack can mount a wide range
of equipment and accessories. The 4 posts of the Studio Rack are independently
adjustable for depth and are not limited to preset increments.

Non-rackmount equipment (desktop tower computers, external hard drives, etc.)
can also be accommodated in the XRackPro2 by the use of a third party rackmount
shelf. Rackmount shelves mount to the 4 posts to provide a platform for
non-rackmount equipment to rest upon. Rack mount shelves can be used in
conjunction with rackmount equipment inside the XRackPro2 Studio Rack.
